1. Who we are

Edora Hazelnuts is a brand of EDORA GLOBAL DIŞ TİCARET LİMİTED, a company registered in Türkiye, which grows, processes and exports hazelnuts from Giresun. 2. What we collect

• Details you enter in the quotation form: company, contact name, email, phone, product, specification, quantity, destination country, Incoterm and any message.
• Correspondence you send us by email or WhatsApp, and our replies.
• Technical data from your visit: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring source, collected through analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.

We do not ask for and do not want special category data. Please do not send us personal data beyond what a commercial enquiry needs.

3. Why we use it

• To prepare and send you a quotation, samples and shipping documentation.
• To answer your questions and keep a record of what was agreed.
• To meet legal obligations relating to export, customs and accounting.
• To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.

4. Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and improving the site; your consent for analytics and marketing cookies; and legal obligation for records we must keep.

Where Turkish law (KVKK) applies, we process on the equivalent grounds set out in Article 5 of that law.

5. Who we share it with

• Freight forwarders, customs agents and inspection bodies, where needed to ship your order.
• Our email, hosting and analytics providers, acting on our instructions. Website analytics is provided by Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager). Until you accept analytics cookies it runs in consent-denied mode: no cookies are stored on your device and no advertising or user identifiers are collected.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising by third parties.

6. International transfers

We are based in Türkiye. If you contact us from the EEA or the United Kingdom, your data is transferred outside that area. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses with our providers.

7. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an order: up to two years, so we can pick the conversation back up.
• Customer records and shipping documents: for the period required by tax, customs and commercial law.
• Analytics data: as configured in our analytics tool, normally no longer than 14 months.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or provide it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@edorahazelnuts.com and we will respond within the period the law allows.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority. In Türkiye, you may apply to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential commercial terms through unsecured channels if you would rather not.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
