Quality assurance

Controlled at every step.

Because we own the orchard, the harvest and the process, a problem never becomes someone else's responsibility. Here is what we check, and what we can prove.

The chain

From parcel to container.

Each stage has a check that has to pass before the lot moves on.

  1. 01 Orchard Harvest timing decided by ripeness and recorded per parcel. Parcel record
  2. 02 Drying Sun-dried on open terraces until the lot reaches target moisture. Moisture check
  3. 03 Cracking Shell removed and kernel yield recorded for the lot. Kernel yield
  4. 04 Calibration Screened to your size band, then optically sorted for colour and defect. Size band
  5. 05 Processing Roasting, blanching or milling against your approved reference sample. Roast approval
  6. 06 Release Packed under controlled conditions and documented per shipment. Lab analysis

What we measure

Checks on every lot.

  • MoistureAfter drying and again before packing.
  • AflatoxinAnalysed per lot, report travels with the goods.
  • CalibrationScreened and optically sorted to the ordered band.
  • Foreign materialAir separation, screening and manual inspection.
  • Kernel yieldRecorded so in-shell offers compare like for like.
  • Oil contentChecked where the application depends on it.
  • SensoryRoast profile approved against the reference sample.
  • TraceabilityBack to the parcel and the harvest date.

The chain

From parcel to container.

Each stage has a check that has to pass before the lot moves on.

Stage 01

Orchard

Pruning, pest monitoring and harvest timing decided by ripeness, recorded per parcel.

Stage 02

Drying

Sun-dried on open terraces to target moisture, measured before the lot leaves the yard.

Stage 03

Processing

Cracking, calibration and optical sorting, then roasting or blanching where ordered.

Stage 04

Release

Laboratory analysis, packing under controlled conditions and documentation per shipment.

What we measure

Checks on every lot.

MoistureMeasured after drying and again before packing, to prevent condensation and mould in transit.
AflatoxinAnalysed per lot, with the report issued alongside the shipment documents.
CalibrationScreened to the ordered size band, then optically sorted for colour and defect.
Foreign materialRemoved by air separation, screening and manual inspection.
Kernel yieldRecorded for in-shell lots so buyers can compare offers on a like-for-like basis.
Oil contentChecked where the application depends on it, such as paste and flour.
SensoryRoast profile approved against the reference sample before bulk production runs.
TraceabilityEvery lot traces back to the parcel it grew on and the day it was harvested.

Certification

Standards and documents.

Certification status is confirmed at the time of contract. Ask us for current certificates before you order.

Food safety

  • HACCP
  • ISO 22000
  • Hygiene protocols on site

Per shipment

  • Certificate of analysis
  • Aflatoxin analysis
  • Health certificate
  • Certificate of origin

On request

  • Halal certification
  • EUR.1 movement certificate
  • Third-party inspection
  • Organic — on project basis

Buyer questions

Quality and compliance.

How do you keep the specification stable between seasons?

We keep your approved profile on file and reproduce it from our own lots. Because we are not buying blended material on the open market, the starting point does not drift with whatever the season brings.

What happens if a lot fails a check?

It does not ship. Since the orchard, the drying and the processing are ours, the lot is simply redirected internally rather than becoming a dispute with a supplier.

Can we audit your facility?

Buyer audits and third-party inspections are welcome. Tell us the standard you audit against and we will prepare accordingly.

Do you meet EU aflatoxin limits?

Lots destined for the EU are analysed against the applicable EU limits before shipment, and the analysis travels with the goods. Confirm your market’s current thresholds with us at contract stage.
